Install

macOS

  1. Open the disk image.
  2. Drag TablePad into Applications.
  3. Launch TablePad. The first launch downloads the rest of the app as a signed update.

Windows

  1. Extract the zip.
  2. Run the setup program inside it.
  3. If SmartScreen says it protected your PC, choose More info, then Run anyway.
  4. Launch TablePad. The first launch downloads the rest of the app as a signed update.

The installer is only the launcher. TablePad does not publish the app bundle as its own download.

If a warning appears

Windows SmartScreen or the browser warns about the file

Code signing for the Windows build is not finished, so a warning is expected. Confirm you are on downloads.tablepad.dev, check the SHA-256 above, then use More info → Run anyway. Ignore copies of the installer sent by email or chat.

macOS says it can't verify TablePad

Open System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway. Current Mac builds are notarized; this step is only for a build that is not.
